RHS Education Centre

The education programme at RHS Harlow Carr offers the opportunity to learn alongside RHS horticulturists and experts in a range of workshops and courses. In order to expand the educational resources available, The Landscape Agency was commissioned to submit a planning application for a new timber framed teaching shelter. The shelter, constructed from locally sourced Oak will provide valuable teaching space and outdoor classrooms for school groups. Overlooking the Queen Mother’s Lake, the building designed by Pearce Bottomley Architects is nestled within the existing contours of the site and creates a continuous ‘learning zone’ within the gardens, including the hugely successful Bramall Learning Centre and Teaching Garden.
