RHS Harrogate Arms

Having completed a masterplanning commission for RHS Harlow Carr at its 56 acre garden in North Yorkshire, The Landscape Agency was appointed to review the landscape opportunities presented by the aquisition of the Harrogate Arms hotel by the RHS. The hotel has historic links with the gardens and guests would have bathed in and drunk the spa water raised from springs within the gardens. The Landscape Agency prepared a concept masterplan for the area, which restores this historic link, creates new garden spaces and integrates these within the existing garden framework. The proposals include new visitor and maintenance circulation routes and enhancements to the woodland along the Harlow Beck.
