The RBC New Wild Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2012

The Landscape Agency is pleased to announce that it has teamed up again with Nigel Dunnett to design a show garden at Chelsea Flower Show 2012. TLA and Nigel Dunnett have been sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada for the second year running and will be exhibiting at what will be the 300th year of the Show.

The garden is a modern and environmentally positive interpretation of the traditional 'paradise garden': instead of formal rills and canals, excess rainwater is channeled and stored as 'bioswales', which form the central feature in the garden.

Planting is dramatic, naturalistic and exuberant in Nigel Dunnett's style and features huge swathes of Turk's Cap lilies, growing as if in their natural habitat. A dramatic pavilion is inspired by the architecture of the Puglia region, Italy.

The garden explores the concept of 'artful water management' by showing how sustainable concepts and support for biodiversity can form the basis for the design of even the most formal of gardens.
