Bio Istanbul

Bio City Development Company and the Turkish Housing Authority, TOKi, have formed a partnership to create a state-of-the-art paediatric hospital on a 180ha site to the west of Istanbul, with integrated research and development facilities, Grade A office space and associated high-end housing. This will be the first biomedical science park in the region.

The Landscape Agency has been commissioned to develop a strategic landscape masterplan across the entire site. Key objectives include:
- An assessment of the existing landscape to establish constraints and priority areas for protection.
- Research into the historic and current design styles and materials of the area which will inform the proposals.
- A landscape-led design vision and schematic masterplan.
