Ivybridge, Devon

The Landscape Agency was engaged by The Prince's Foundation for Ivybridge Town Council to develop a draft masterplan framework through the Enquiry by Design process for a 500 home housing extension and regeneration of the Town Centre.

Our involvement was to assist through community consultation to develop a vision for Ivybridge. Aspirations were to create a vibrant, sustainable community, with enhanced status as a destination where the town centre is regenerated to take advantage of its riverside setting, industrial heritage and proximity to Dartmoor.

Objectives included: enhanced leisure and sports facilities, improved sustainable transport links, particularly enhancing the role of the railway station to meet local needs and provision of affordable homes supported by employment opportunities.
